Back in June, I was honoured to be published in print for the very first time. My short story, ‘Fool Aboard’, was included in the Terror Train anthology published by James Ward Kirk Publishing. Edited by Krista Clark Grabowski and A. Henry Keene, this anthology has a special place in my heart. First of all, it’s my first published work and second, trains are synonymous with horror – for me anyway. There’s always been something so eerie about the locomotive. To be involved in such a project was an absolute pleasure.
However, Terror Train has since evolved. Not content with being in print and on Ebook format, the people responsible for Terror Train have organised a podcast for each of the works included within. Composed and read by David Schütz II and Mary G. Fortier-Schütz II, with some amazing sound effects and a creepy host, these podcasts are really something special.
Which means it was only a matter of time until my story stepped up. Coming in on the 13th episode – so very cool to have that number – ‘Fool Aboard’ can be heard here. It’s also on YouTube.
After a heavy week of promotion for many different works, it’s nice to see my work turned into a podcast. I never envisioned my work coming along like this. 2014 just gets better and better.
Terror Train can be purchased on Amazon here also. All aboard…
