Hello all
As a writer, the process and the creation can be a lonely yet thoroughly satisfying one. However, and many authors will know this, unless you’re multitalented you can’t do everything on your own.
I outsource covers, use beta readers and some research is done externally. And I read a lot. However, the key role I never skimp on is the proofing. A book is only as good as the prose and literature within and if the words do not flow, you run the risk of alienating your audience.
Which is where Julia Gibbs comes in.
Since I started writing, the prospect of having someone proof my work was a terrifying one. For what reason, I’m not entirely sure. I suppose hindsight is important. However, looking back now, Julia Gibbs has completely banished that phobia from my brain.
Thus far, Julia has proofed all of my work. My debut novella, The Customer Is Always… and my feature length effort, All or Nothing, were both proofed by Julia. I also have three short stories entered into several respectable horror anthologies because of Julia’s keen eye for detail and a fourth is currently pending. Julia really has brought my words to life and I think by saying thank you here, and in a recent testimonial, that people will recognise her talent. I have included the link to her website below, complete with my recent testimonial.
Authors, if you need someone to proof your words in a timely manner, look no further.
